{"id":55631,"date":"2025-04-15T12:57:55","date_gmt":"2025-04-15T12:57:55","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/optimistic-solomon.194-164-31-150.plesk.page\/?post_type=awsm_job_openings&#038;p=55631"},"modified":"2025-04-15T12:59:43","modified_gmt":"2025-04-15T12:59:43","slug":"apprentice-spring-maker","status":"publish","type":"awsm_job_openings","link":"https:\/\/optimistic-solomon.194-164-31-150.plesk.page\/?awsm_job_openings=apprentice-spring-maker","title":{"rendered":"Apprentice Spring Maker"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Salary:<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>\u00a39.50<\/strong> per hour.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Hours:&nbsp;<\/strong><strong>40<\/strong> hours per week including day release to college<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Job description<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Work in a supported learning environment, to develop the skills and knowledge in manufacturing, including Press Shop, Production, Coiling, Wire Forming, Multi-Slides and Tool Room.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Undertake a learning and development programme, completing \u2018day release\u2019.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Undertake a work programme in the Manufacturing sections to develop practical and\/or technical skills and knowledge of the manufacture of Wire and Strip Spring products and their associated Tooling, including;\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Blank, Pierce and Multi-Stage presswork<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Compression and Tension Spring Coiling and Grinding<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Wire Forming<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Small Order, Prototype and Batch Production<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Multi-Slide Pressed\/Formed Manufacturing<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Jig, Tool and Gauge Manufacturing<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Quality Control techniques<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Associated administration and IT systems<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Take part in meetings, supervised learning and training as directed by the Technical Director\/Line Manager<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><strong>Qualifications And Experience<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">There is no requirement for previous experience as full training will be given.
